Puff Paint Isn’t Just for Snow!

IMG_0149

The new Christmas Catalog has the Snow Puff Paint for the snowman and other wintery scenes. But, how about a fall card using it for the cotton in the Country Home set?

I used the Stitched Nested dies to cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and to cut a space for it to fit in the In Color paper once it was colored. I stamped the can and flowers with Basic Gray ink and colored them with various Blends. Then, I applied the Puff Paint where the cotton was stamped and heated it with the heat gun. A bit of burlap ribbon was tacked down and then the completed die cut set into place with dimensionals to give it a tiny bit of lift.

I wasn’t happy with the totally gray can, so I grabbed a scrap of copper and some Staz-on(TM) ink. I fussy cut the label and taped it into place. Much better! Hope you enjoyed my alternate use of this cool product now available in the Christmas catalog.
