July/August Newsletter

Covid has made us look at things differently. While I so enjoy spending crafting time with all of you, currently group get-togethers are just not a good idea. So I’ve come up with a couple of options for August and I look forward to your feedback on what you feel works.

July 11- August 10 – Sign up for Paper Pumpkin for August. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription service. You receive everything you need monthly to complete several cards. Then we share ideas to create even more from our kits together. It used to be the last Monday of the month at my home but currently is on Zoom. Starting with the August kit, you will receive instructions, a video link and products from me to make 4 additional cards and/or projects. The great part about Pumpkin is that you can stop any time or even put it on hold a month or two if big events are coming up in your life. Use the link below to subscribe:

August Club

In-home sessions will be held on First Monday (August 3rd) in 2 hour increments: individual, 90 minute classes followed by cleaning everything used; doorknobs, etc. Those who normally craft together such as mother/daughter or best friends can sign up together. Otherwise, it will be individuals.

If you cannot attend one of these times or choose not to due to virus concerns, we can schedule a time online, just let me know.

August Project Kit

For August we will use the ‘Whale Done’ suite. See below for options/prices. We will be making an expandable file that will hold six cards we will make. I will supply the whale dies cuts should you not wish to purchase that punch.

Videos will be available August 17^th for the file and six cards: 2 simple, 2 intermediate and 2 avid.

Assuming you have black ink, minimally you will need: Whale Done Stamp set ($17, Whale of a Time Paper ($11.50) and Whale of a Time sequins ($6.50) = $35. I will supply additional card stock and items to make the remainder of the project.

If you cannot see the images well, they are located on pages 94-96 of the Annual catalog. For those choosing the entire bundle of products ($65.50), I’m offering 10% off but that would need to be ordered through me, not online. You will still receive the ‘bonus days’ credit if ordered in July.
